• The perfect bag to use with your beach basket, enabling you to leave the rest of your paraphernalia on your lounger. Just pop your valuables inside and it takes your from beach to bar and back again. Even better is the fact that it's made from waste cuttings salvaged from the production of organic cotton clothing that are then shredded and blended with recycled plastic bottles.  I deliberately chose a denim blue colour so that the whole family is happy to be seen carrying it - as evidenced by this picture from France!

  • Half moon straw clutch bag decorated with glorious red, pink, orange and yellow pompoms. The clutch is lined with navy cotton and has a gusset to stop it from falling wide open when unzipped (and everything spilling out).
  • Half moon straw clutch bag with Vacances in navy embroidery. The clutch is lined with navy cotton and has a gusset to stop it from falling wide open when unzipped (and everything spilling out). Each bag is hand embroidered and so will vary.
  • Half moon straw clutch with 'bonjour' embroidered in black. The bag has a cotton lining which also restricts it from opening fully (and the contents from falling on the floor). Each bag is made and embroidered by hand in Marrakech so they are all slightly different.
  • These straw baskets are made in a small village just outside Marrakech. They are then hand embroidered by local women who are working together to build a co-operative. The tassels are made by their daughters after school. By supporting the establishment of this co-operative, we are helping the women to fund their children's education and improve their own living standards at the same time. Each woman has a slightly different style of lettering and so every basket is unique.

Please note that the sequins are sewn on not glued as is often the case with baskets like this. The extra work is labour intensive which is why the price is slightly higher than the embroidered baskets but it means that the sequins will stay on securely.
